Ilkley Carnival Duck Race

The Principle Trust brought the Duck Race back to Ilkley Carnival this Bank Holiday Monday and launched 3000 rubber ducks off New Brook Street bridge into the River Wharfe. On Saturday 4th May we took part in the Skipton Point to Point where the first race was a charity race and all proceeds came straight to our Charity. Skipton Primary Schools Raise Funds and Have Fun

Earlier in the month both the Boyle & Petyt and Threshfield Primary Schools took part in a Dress Down Day and Bake Sale in aid of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity. Upper Wharfedale School Supports The Principle Trust

In 2019 we are hoping to work closely with our local schools, so we can fundraise and support each other and spread awareness of our charity. Upper Wharfedale school stepped up in January to help us with Bag Packing at Morrisons in Skipton on Saturday 12th.  They innovated and rather than packing bags, loaded conveyor belts, which seemed to go down a treat as together we raised £346.60.  As it was a joint fundraiser that…
