SUMMARY:The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge 3rd September
DESCRIPTION:The Yorkshire Three Peaks route is 24 miles  (38.6km) and includes 1585m (5200ft) of ascent.We invite you join us on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to support children across Yorkshire on Saturday 3rd September . The challenge covers the peaks Pen-y-ghent\, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. We have a guide for the day who is first aid trained. Here’s what you can expect on the day…\n  \n  \n  \n  \n  \n\n\n\n\n6:15am\n\n\nArrive at Chapel-le-Dale. Free parking available on the layby road\, just after the car park field. Postcode for start/finish parking: LA6 3AR. We will be waiting to greet and introduce you to your guide (first aid trained).\n\n\n\n\n6:30am \n\n\nWe start the challenge!\n\n\n\n\nApprox. 8am\n\n\nSummit of Ingleborough\n\n\n\n\nApprox. 10am\n\n\nArrive in Horton-in-Ribblesdale – first water stops. Toilets available in village.\n\n\n\n\nApprox. 11:30am\n\n\nSummit of Pen-y-Ghent.\n\n\n\n\nApprox. 2:30pm\n\n\nRibblehead Viaduct – stop for second water top-ups.\n\n\n\n\nApprox. 4:45pm\n\n\nSummit of Whernside\n\n\n\n\nApprox. 6:45pm\n\n\nTarget time to complete the challenge!
