Skipton Primary Schools Raise Funds and Have Fun

Earlier in the month both the Boyle & Petyt and Threshfield Primary Schools took part in a Dress Down Day and Bake Sale in aid of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity.

Louise Rhodes held an assembly at both schools to explain a little bit more about the charity and how the money the children raised would help underprivileged, disadvantaged and disabled Yorkshire children.

Threshfield Primary School were very excited about having a Dress Down Day and held a coffee morning on the same day.  They managed to raise £102.60 for The Principle Trust.

The Boyle & Petyt Primary School set up a Bake Sale in their school hall and they raised £156.50 in total.  The School Council presented Louise with a cheque at their assembly.

Well done to both schools for taking part.  Together you have made it possible for us to send more children and their families away for a free respite break.

The Principle Trust Children’s Charity hopes to make this an annual event with more local schools getting involved as we go.
