This Saturday 14th September, our incredible supporters at Meritec will be lacing up their walking boots and taking on the iconic Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in support of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity. The team will be hiking a gruelling 24-mile route, which includes a total ascent of 5,200ft as they tackle the peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside, and Pen-y-ghent.
We are beyond grateful that Meritec has chosen us as their charity partner for this ambitious challenge. Their efforts will help raise vital funds to provide free week-long respite holidays for children across Yorkshire who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, or living with life-limiting conditions. These breaks give families a much-needed escape from their everyday struggles, helping them create lasting memories and strengthen their bonds.
With Meritec’s dedication and the generosity of their supporters, we’re confident that their efforts will make a huge difference to the families we support. Every £500 raised will cover the cost of a family’s respite holiday, offering them a week of relaxation, joy, and treasured time together.
Meritec’s commitment and enthusiasm for our cause is truly inspiring, and we wish them all the very best of luck this weekend as they take on this incredible challenge. We know it won’t be easy, but their efforts will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the children and families we serve.
