Making a meaningful difference to children, by providing a holiday

What began as a way to support disadvantaged children has grown into something much greater. Over the years, the charity has expanded its reach to support children and families facing a wide range of challenges, including disability, serious illness, mental health difficulties, trauma, and financial hardship. In response to this growing need, we have developed a portfolio of fully equipped and accessible respite homes, ensuring that even children with complex needs can enjoy a safe, comfortable break away.

Now, as we celebrate our 15th anniversary, we are proud to have supported almost 6,000 children and families across Yorkshire. With eight respite homes located in Blackpool, the Lake District and Filey – including fully accessible properties, we are now able to provide life-changing breaks for over 300 families each year.

At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to create happy memories with their family. Thanks to our 100% donations policy, every pound raised goes directly towards making those moments possible, offering families time to reconnect, recharge, and experience joy together.
