I’m Kerry, the Community Engagement and Marketing Manager here at the children’s charity in Skipton. I organise community fundraising events and look after our many patrons, supporters and volunteers. My aim is to heighten the awareness of our work and inspire people to give and get involved.

I’m passionate about our mission. A simple break from the stresses of daily life can help children and their families to create precious memories that last, strengthen bonds, improve their mental health and wellbeing, making families more resilient.

As a family, we have experienced what it’s like to have a child who is seriously ill, going through intense treatments and surgery. So I understand the worry and stresses families go through in supporting their child through difficult times such as this and the impact it has on their development and learning. This taught me to really live life to the full! I’m so happy to be working for this amazing children’s children and helping other families in need.
