The Principle Trust Children’s Charity is delighted to announce the appointment of Rose Lodge as its new Charity Events Coordinator. Rose joins the team with an impressive 11 years of experience in customer service and event management, having organised multi-day corporate events for domestic and international visitors in the stunning Yorkshire Dales.
Based in Skipton, the charity is dedicated to improving the lives of children who are disadvantaged, underprivileged, disabled, or have life-limiting conditions. Since its establishment in 2011 by local businessman Mike Davies, MBE, the Trust has provided over 5,000 respite breaks for children and their families across Yorkshire.
Rose’s Role in Supporting Vulnerable Children
As Charity Events Coordinator, Rose will oversee the planning, development, and organisation of the Trust’s flagship fundraising events. These include:
- The annual charity ball
- Rugby tournaments
- Popular tribute act nights
These events play a vital role in raising the funds necessary to provide free, week-long respite holidays to families facing significant challenges.
Rose, 29, lives in Long Preston with her husband Matt and their two young sons. She expressed her excitement about the new role, saying:
“I’m delighted to be joining The Principle Trust and am looking forward to working closely with trustees, patrons, and supporters throughout North and West Yorkshire.”
