We’re thrilled to announce that ‘The Oracle’ has once again been crowned champions of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity Quiz Cup at the BIG Skipton Quiz 2025! This isn’t their first triumph either, our reigning quiz legends showed their smarts and speed, claiming victory once more in what was an unforgettable evening.
Proudly sponsored by Walker Foster Solicitors, this year’s event brought together local businesses, supporters, and quiz lovers for a night of friendly competition – all in support of children across Yorkshire who’ve experienced trauma, abuse, poverty, serious illness, disability or other adverse childhood experiences.
From testing knowledge in current affairs, sport and pop culture to our iconic ‘Who Played?’ film round, the quiz was packed with challenging questions and lots of laughs.
Thanks to your generosity and support, we raised a fantastic £2,400, enough to provide four families with week-long respite holidays, including food hampers filled with essential groceries. That’s four families offered a break from their everyday struggles, and the chance to create lasting memories in one of our seven holiday homes across Blackpool, Filey, and the Lake District.
