We’re thrilled to welcome FMS Developments and its Managing Director, Will Simpson as the newest Patron of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity. Based in Settle, FMS Developments has pledged their support to help improve the lives of disadvantaged, disabled, and poorly children across Yorkshire.
Founded in 2019, FMS Developments is a family-run building firm with a passion for quality craftsmanship and community values. Over the years, Will and his dedicated team have completed a variety of bespoke developments in Bentham, Settle, Clapham, and Hellifield. Their latest project, Old Mason’s Yard in Clapham, showcases their commitment to beautiful, thoughtfully designed homes, featuring a barn conversion and a brand-new detached bungalow.
Speaking about the new partnership, Will said:
“We’re proud to support the work of The Principle Trust, helping disadvantaged, disabled and poorly children to escape their everyday troubles and create valuable, happy memories.”
The Principle Trust provides free respite holidays to children and families who are facing adversity, whether through illness, disability, poverty, trauma, abuse, or mental health struggles. These vital breaks offer families the opportunity to escape their daily challenges, reconnect, and make cherished memories that last a lifetime.

As if becoming a Patron wasn’t enough, Will also went the extra mile, quite literally by completing the gruelling Tough Mudder challenge at Broughton Hall near Skipton last weekend. Battling mud, obstacles, and endurance, Will raised over £900, enough to fund a full week-long break for a local family in need.
Since launching in 2011, The Principle Trust has supported over 5,700 children from across the Yorkshire region, with the continued help of our incredible patrons, fundraisers, and volunteers.
From bricks to big-hearted giving, we are so grateful to Will and the team at FMS Developments for laying the foundations for a brighter future.
