Yorkshire’s business community rolled up their sleeves and pulled on their wellies as The Principle Trust Children’s Charity hosted its first-ever Farm Adventure Day, proudly headlined by Health and Wellbeing Brands in Skipton and supported by a host of generous local sponsors.
More than 60 fun-loving participants left their desks behind to compete for the title of Ultimate Farmer, all while raising over £4,600, enough to fund seven free week-long respite breaks for some of Yorkshire’s most disadvantaged children. A huge thank you to all that joined us, sponsored and donated prizes, we’re incredibly grateful to you all for your generous support.
A Day of Mud, Laughter, and Team Spirit
Held at Farm Adventure near Masham, the event saw teams tackle a series of country-inspired challenges including pig herding, welly-wanging, sheep gathering, tractor racing, egg throwing, and the epic Farmer’s Scramble.
The fun-filled day was made possible by the generosity of our headline sponsor Health and Wellbeing Brands, alongside Eldwick Interiors, Cleggacy Financial, My Victoria, and Phunk, who all kindly sponsored the farming challenges.

Founded in 2011 by Mike Davies MBE, The Principle Trust Children’s Charity provides free respite holidays for children across Yorkshire who face poverty, serious illness, disabilities, or trauma. With a 100% donation policy, every penny raised goes directly to giving families a chance to rest, bond, and heal.
