The Principle Trust Children’s Charity is delighted to have received a generous £2,000 donation from The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge, helping to provide four local families with a much-needed respite break.
The Rotary Club of Hebden Bridge, a long-standing and active humanitarian group founded in 1951, has been supporting communities across West Yorkshire for over 70 years. Through their ongoing fundraising efforts, they continue to make a meaningful difference to local causes and we are incredibly grateful to be one of them.
With strong Yorkshire roots and a shared commitment to supporting families across the region, this partnership is a natural and impactful one. Thanks to this donation, four families will be able to enjoy a free, week-long respite break, giving them the opportunity to step away from the daily challenges they face.
Each family will also receive a complimentary food hamper, helping to ease financial pressures and ensuring they can fully relax and enjoy their time together.

At The Principle Trust Children’s Charity, we support children and families facing adverse childhood experiences, including mental health challenges, trauma, poverty, serious illness and disability. Our respite breaks offer a safe and welcoming space where families can rest, reconnect and create lasting memories together.
Since 2011, we have supported almost 6,000 children across Yorkshire through our respite homes in Blackpool, the Lake District and Filey.

Thanks to our 100% donations policy, every penny of this generous grant will go directly towards supporting children and families who need it most.
