£10,000 Grant Awarded

We had some fantastic news last week when we received a £10,000 grant towards our next log cabin from the DM Thomas Foundation for Young People.

We are now over half way towards our target to get our next Log Cabin and are starting to look where this might be.

We have to keep certain things in mind when looking, as not all parks are suitable for our visitors. Our Log Cabin is specifically for young people with additional needs or that have life limiting or life threatening illnesses. Therefore first and foremost distance to a hospital is paramount. We also need to bare in mind local transport links and activities that are in the surrounding areas.
