The 6th Big Skipton Quiz

Thursday 12th September saw our 6th Annual Big Skipton Quiz take place at the Rendezvous Hotel, where over 120 people turned out to take part and help raise funds for The Principle Trust Children’s Charity.

Dave Watkiss from Drystone Radio kindly hosted the evening, as teams of up to 6 battled out to win. There were teams from local businesses such as Dalehead Vets, Fortem People, Gostlings, Skipton Business Network, JELF Insurance, Computershare, Douglas Charles Recruitment, Principle Healthcare and many others came with groups of friends.

There was as always a fantastic raffle with a Barbour jacket to be won, goodies from Marks & Spencer and Betty’s, Whitakers Chocolates, Tesco, The Rendezvous Hotel, Matrix Bowling, Boden, The Coniston Hotel & Spa and many more fabulous prizes.

The Wooden Spoon prize, for coming last in the quiz went to David Armitage and his team, who all got their very own wooden spoon to take home with them.

3 Humphreys and 3 Aliens came in second and won £60 – which they kindly donated back to the charity .

And the winners were ‘The Winning Team’ who won £120 cash and donated it straight back to The Principle Trust. It was a great night, lots of fun and fundraising. We are still waiting a grand total, but as soon as we have it we will update it here.
