Key Worker Families

Apologies that I have not uploaded a blog recently. I really hope you and your family are okay during this unprecedented time. Indeed, for every non-profit organisation and every individual for that matter, it certainly has been a difficult time – and we are not out of the woods yet. Despite everything, we are doing what we can to ensure the continued support of children across Yorkshire.

We introduced a new initiative to support children across Yorkshire for those whose parents are key workers and the closing date for those applications are at the end of this month. This is the first time that we have been involved in the application process, as usually other charities or local authorities refer children and their families to us. It has been difficult reading through family’s applications so far – but we are thrilled to announce we are helping over 100 families!

An update on past fundraisers…we had an internal Easter Egg raffle, a virtual duck race and of course a few quizzes! We’ve some exciting events planned – which I will tell you about next time!
