The Fundraising Goes On At The Principle Trust Children’s Charity 

We are encouraging organisations to have a jolly good time and fundraise for us this year. Here are four fun fundraising ideas you and your colleagues can get involved with this year…

1) Christmas Jumper Day

Everybody’s favourite festive fundraiser! Christmas may be a little different this year… but we can keep up with some traditions. Get our your best (or silliest) Christmas jumper this year and make your colleagues smile… take a snap whilst you are at it, we would love to see! 

Chat to us to organise a prize to award to the person wearing the best Christmas jumper in the office or on zoom. 

2) Send a Christmas E-Card

E-cards are rapidly becoming a firm favourite for many. You can save money, send cards around the globe and contribute towards sustainability.

3) Donate your commute for December

On average, £5 – £7 is spent on commutes to work. With offices shut across the nation, the ‘donate your commute’ initiative has been introduced! How do you get to work in the morning and how much have you saved?

4) Secret Santa Swap

Why don’t you swap the money you would usually spend on Secret Santa into a donation for charity? Or, 50/50? If there is one way to guarantee a smile it’s by knowing 100% of your donation will go towards supporting underprivileged, disadvantaged and disabled children across Yorkshire.
