We are absolutely thrilled to welcome MW & RF Brewster and Sons, a highly respected Skipton-based building firm, as our newest Patron of The Principle Trust Children’s Charity.
Founded in 1956 by Maurice Brewster and now led by third-generation builders Stewart and William Brewster, the firm has been at the heart of the Embsay and wider Skipton community for nearly 70 years. Their craftsmanship has left its mark across the Aire and Wharfe Valleys through barn and mill conversions, bespoke joinery, new builds and heritage projects.
Now, they’re building something even more meaningful – hope.
By pledging their support to The Principle Trust, the Brewster family is helping us continue our mission: to provide free, week-long respite holidays to children across Yorkshire who are living with adversity – be it trauma, poverty, illness, disability or poor mental health. Their backing will enable more children to escape their everyday struggles and enjoy a break filled with laughter, comfort and the chance to create lasting memories with their families.

Thanks to our unique 100% donations policy, every penny donated by Brewster’s will directly benefit children and their families – no overheads, no deductions, just impact.
Since 2011, The Principle Trust has helped over 5,400 children access life-changing respite breaks at our holiday homes in Blackpool, Filey and the Lake District. With the support of generous businesses like Brewster’s, we can continue to reach even more families in need.
