At The Principle Trust, we believe every child deserves the chance to heal, grow, and make precious memories, especially those whose lives have been shattered by unimaginable tragedy.
Recently, we welcomed a family referred to us by Three Nines Children’s Charity. This family has been through heartbreak no family should ever face. Tragically, almost two-year-old Ella-Rose was murdered by repeated punches to her stomach by a trusted childminder. Her loss is felt deeply every single day, none more so than by her big sister, who misses her little sister terribly.
Through our partnership with Three Nines, Ella-Rose’s family were able to take a respite holiday to Blackpool to spend precious time together away from their daily pain and challenges.
Mum Pagan shared:
“What an amazing holiday to Blackpool we have had. The caravan was perfect and in the perfect location too. We were minutes away from all the main attractions.
My children had an absolute blast on all their activities – dinosaur fossil excavation, bug hunt, swimming, friendship bracelet making, plant pot making, and so much more.
There’s so much to do to make those perfect memories with your little ones, and on the days when the weather wasn’t great, the caravan was packed with DVDs, books, and puzzles.
It was just perfect from start to finish. Thank you to The Principle Trust and Three Nines for making this possible.”
