Thank You to The Bull at Broughton for Raising £865 for Local Families

Walks, Quizzes… and Bacon Sandwiches!

Each month, The Bull hosted a series of guided walks starting and finishing at the pub and winding through the beautiful grounds of the Broughton Hall Estate. Walkers were invited to donate to The Principle Trust and were rewarded at the finish line with a well-deserved bacon sandwich – a simple but brilliant idea that proved hugely popular with the local community.

Alongside the walks, the team also ran monthly quiz nights, with all proceeds going directly to The Principle Trust as their chosen local children’s charity.

Together, these fantastic initiatives have raised an amazing £865 so far.

Funding a Respite Break for a Family in Need

Thanks to this generosity, The Bull at Broughton has funded a free, week-long respite break and food hamper for a family in need.

Our respite breaks offer vital time away for families facing mental health challenges, disability, serious illness, trauma, or financial hardship. They provide the chance to step away from daily pressures, reconnect, and create positive memories together, something that can make a life-changing difference.
