Events are integral to the success of raising The Principle Trust’s annual target. We are always looking for ways to make sure there is a selection of events so that all our supporters can join in – and of course, that are always fun. We regularly hold fundraising events and functions within the local area that includes quizzes, race nights, sports challenges, family fun days and our annual Charity Ball.

York Rotary Dragon Boat Race 2024

The York Rotary Dragon Boat Race 2024 is making a grand return this Summer
Taking place on Sunday 14th July, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals or companies with a passion to do good, row and help us raise funds by ‘rowing for respite’.
36 teams will battle it out on the River Ouse in York for the Challenge Trophy and other prestigious awards, including awards for the fastest Charity Team, Commercial Team, Armed Forces Team and of course the “Best Dressed Team” trophy.
Please share, show your support this year, as we improve the lives of children by providing free respite holidays for children who are underprivileged, disadvantaged, disabled, have life-limiting conditions, or who have experienced poverty, trauma or abuse.
