Events are integral to the success of raising The Principle Trust’s annual target. We are always looking for ways to make sure there is a selection of events so that all our supporters can join in – and of course, that are always fun. We regularly hold fundraising events and functions within the local area that includes quizzes, race nights, sports challenges, family fun days and our annual Charity Ball.

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge 3rd September

We invite you join us on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to support children across Yorkshire on Saturday 3rd September . The challenge covers the peaks Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough in under 12 hours. We have a guide for the day who is first aid trained. Here’s what you can expect on the day…
6:15am |
Arrive at Chapel-le-Dale. Free parking available on the layby road, just after the car park field. Postcode for start/finish parking: LA6 3AR. We will be waiting to greet and introduce you to your guide (first aid trained). |

Arrive in Horton-in-Ribblesdale – first water stops. Toilets available in village. |
Approx. 11:30am |
Summit of Pen-y-Ghent. |

Ribblehead Viaduct – stop for second water top-ups. |
Approx. 4:45pm |
Summit of Whernside |
Approx. 6:45pm |
Target time to complete the challenge! We will finish the challenge where we started in Chapel-le-Dale. |
